Strawberry Fields Ride: RAIN !

It is raining this morning in Santa Cruz and there are thundershowers predicted for later today. So we decided not to ride today. The rain has been intermittent, however it has been reasonably hard at times. It just would not be much fun to be cold and soaking wet in the wind for 5 hours or so. I expect that some people will make the ride anyway, but I would not enjoy it. Furthermore, if the thunderstorms actually come, then it would be really miserable.

Yesterday evening they had a pre-registration, so we were able to get the route and the ride t-shirts. Since we have the route, we are talking about riding it next weekend. We'll see how things turn out.
