February 3, 2011 - Early round at Delaveaga with Simon

Once again, I played pretty well for the first 10 holes (2 over) and then faltered on the next nine holes (5 over). Hmm, after looking at my scores, I realize that I did not play the first 10 hioles so well after all. I had several poor drives and needed miracle second shots to save a par. In fact, I had the same number of poor shots during the first 10 and the second 9, I just was not able to recover from the poor shots on the second half.

I think my period of great growth is coming to an end. For the last two weeks, I have been playing great and I seem to get better every time I play. Over the last few days, I have regressed. It is kind of sad, I am clearly playing better than I was three weeks ago, just not as well as I was last week. For some reason, I can't appreciate my progress, instead I keep comparing my current play with my best play.
